March 3 2004, oh yes!! the Melbourne Gal updates is back! well, ever since i stepped back in melbourne, i have been really busy packing and unpacking.....doing alot of cleaning in the house and of cos, loads of shopping!!! =p it really feels great now that i have got a much BIGGER room for myself.....having nice bathroom and a world of my own! what thrills me more is that: i've got very comfy sleeeeeeep and yes! nice new housemates too!
jack and rebecca came over on sunday....and well, it seems a weird combinition this year...i mean the housemates i have this year are made up of a unique combinition of characters, personalities and backgrounds. rebecca, she's very aussie--grew up here and that's why, she's gota strong accent! very nice girl....likes to be in her room (which used to me mine! =p) and quite easy going. as for jack, hehe....oh well!~ i got my first impression of jack while i was still in singapore over the net. he seemed to me at that time, someone who's very talkative and very artsy....very cooollll and very goodlooking. haha, oh well.....now that i have met him, i just realise he's not anything i thought! he's got a unique sense of music (blasts Beethoven and all the classical music you can think of from his computer speakers!) and also, an interesting sense of humour. the way he disturbs annie just tickles me alot. it's just funny to listen to him at times....
oh well, the difference this year is that: everyone seems to live in their own worlds. nobody seems to bother each other, especially in the evenings. room doors are often closed and 21, Bayview Avenue have become much more silent than before after Kes left. no more barking....no more disturbing from that 'little girl' (our doggie)....no more frustrating mornings to see Kes' poo in the house. no wonder annie misses Kes so much.....cos' she reckons: "the house is becoming much more like a hotel". well, looks like this is gona be an interesting year ahead! =)
and oh yes....i've started uni!!!! it's so great to be back to uni.....see the busy crowds at the Campus Centre and the long queues at the Book Shop for textbooks and stationaries. oh man!~ i queued for ages......just for my textbooks in both Caulfield and Clayton campuses! and it just feels reaaaaallly REALLLLY satisfying having to get my books at the end of it all!~ phew! and yep, i've started reading up my books and i'm just amazed at how enthusiastic i am now! hmm.....perhaps it's my good long holidays i had for the past 4 months! now....it's back to books.... i love my tutors this semester.....new friends and i love what i'm studying this sem as well! i'm simply enthusiastic!!!!!! hope the fire continues!!!!! =)
