Our Last Day
received an unexpected call from mr filmmaker when he arrived back at changi airport. i can't help but felt warm when he told me he returned my call almost immediately after he touched down. he was out of town for awhile. now he's back.

he's been busy with directing his upcoming HD film. it's a joy to speak to him. really. never knew he's so 'drama-mama' and 'emo' until he shared with me the synopsis of his film. "Our Last Day" tells the maudlin story of separation between two best friends who befriended each other in a foreign land. In light of their current predicament, the two best of friends attempt to spend their last day together like how they have always used to. [says mr filmmaker] his film focuses on themes of friendship, cherishing the present and aspiring hopes for the future. after watching his film teaser, i'm awed. it's so 'gracie'! so romantic! so soapie! so...[im beyond words]

perhaps i could truly relate to his film. i know i'd cry if i watch the movie itself. been through some of his 'drama -mama' film moments in my life and i truly believe in his main tag line, 'one thing for sure. distance apart doesn't mean distance at heart'.

do you believe in that too?
