i've been waiting for this third episode for the longest time. i can't wait... i just can't!! the thought of catching my fav animation cartoon with a pack of pop corns at vivo city theatres tonight has lifted my spirits up and distracted me from mundane work. so here i am, blogging about how excited i am! :) *oops.

what i remember most from this lovable band of fairy-tale heroes would be their corny jokes that never fail to tickle my funny bones. the Shrek series have been special, as it challenge the notion that fairy-tales are always full of beds of roses and it always ends on a 'happily ever after' note. Shrek was the rebel in all of us and it threw us out from reality to a fantasised subject. it's remembered as one of the highest viewership animation film in history. the ogre, this ugly looking creature above, is hailed as the main goodie guy in the movie. im honestly impressed with the way Shrek's story was told. despite his looks, the princess still loved him the same. and he managed to convince the King that he's the one for Princess Fiona. that episode really touched my heart. many times, we tend to judge a book by its cover. but when we do open our hearts to embracing the imperfect and unglam, we may find new surprises. just need to learn to look beyond superficiality. that to me, is Shrek's main moral of the story. have you met a Shrek in your life..?
